What an enthralling event, having private messages made public on your wall.
I know online privacy is an illusion anyway, however, there is still a difference between people with the know-how to snoop about and collect your info and the general public being able to do so readily.
Privacy is a peculiar issue as it is. Hmmm, what can be expected and what is warranted? The sliding scale of secrets is sharply tilted on a slippery slope for many of us.
We think we really know our nearest and dearest, our neighbors, our local grocery store clerk, but it’s all too apparent that we barely even know ourselves.
And our reactions to the idea of people finding out what we talk about privately on Facebook is quite revealing. Many of us may panic. And feel regret, shame and fear at the sight of our inner most feelings erupting uncontrollably onto the face of this public forum.
