Musical Room with a View

If I cannot speak, I can sing and dance. If I cannot sing or dance, then I can listen.

Music does not betray, music does not ignore, leave or die.

Long live the music that I love. Long live the music that says what we cannot, do not, will not. Long live all the songs that know my heart, my hurt, my joy, and beautiful true self.

Thank-you to every musician, thank-you to the great and varied, the soaring, the whispering, the haunting, the charming. Thank-you for knowing what I do and letting me share in it with you. Though we may never meet, we know one another.

Thank-you for my room with a view of mountains, of valleys. For passion and compassion. Thank-you for reflection and reminding me of the gorgeousness found looking through splintered glass.

I am lost to and more a part of human connection because of you.

To celebrate, I give you one of my favourite singers and one of her most fitting songs. Thank-you Alanis Morissette! (let us hope this one does not have an error)

Greetings Feline and Fellow Earthlings! In the interest in "brevity" I will attempt to summarize via lists. I AM, this is me, here we go, weee: writer, reader, lover of music, dance, theatre, animals, oddities, 2nd hand trolling through alleys and le boutigues of sally ann and value village, and the beautiful outdoorsy nature of my home. Big breath, leap #2: a veggie head, enviro eco freak, chocolateasaurus, transformer more than meets the eye, former ESL teacher, a happy auntie of Nicholas and Sam, my 2 sweetie pie nephews. Leap #3...welcome to me! Enough said, read my blog:)
