Apricot Thoughts: A Love Story, Day 10&11

When apricot first met plum, she was very certain they would have nothing to say to one another. Yes, indeed they were both fruit, but she was warm, bright, he deeply, darkly spirited under his smooth veneer. Slick, charming, but with a secret heart. Plum felt very much the same of her; they were certainly not a match.

Little did they know, they carried such a similar pit within their bellies. When a chance encounter upon the counter  brought them together, they found in one another a companionship unexpected.
